    Hi Swadhin,

Wow these are some awesome tips for Pinned Tweets. I haven’t tried half of them. I actually pinned a tweet awhile ago and was just thinking if I should change it out. The one that I pinned isn’t really getting any attention.

Great tip on pinning your most popular post. I hadn’t thought of that. I see so many different pinned tweets when I browse Twitter and I agree, having a pinned tweet definitely catches ones attention.

I think I am going to set some time aside today and put some of these tips into action. It seems like there’s so much you can do with pinned Tweets, you just have to learn how to think outside of the box.

I haven’t personally tried the Twitter app, every time I start learning something, it seems like there is always something else to learn.

Thanks for these tips, I know they will help me improve my pinned tweet. Now I just need to spend some time changing mine out and deciding what I want to replace my current one with.

    Have a great day :)

    Hi Swadhin,

OMG! This is actually an ultimate guide to pin a relevant tweet on Twitter profiles. Loved the featured image Swadhin. Very creative! For me twitter is the most powerful platform and brings me good amount of traffic and friends too. So this guide is something to treasure the most in my bookmarks. :)

Yeah I always check your pinned tweets. You always have some new content or inspiring quote to share. Needless to say, I get to know about your new posts from there. I wonder why I don’t get your newsletters.

I agree on pinning the most re-tweeted and favorited tweets. The tweets which are relatable, inspiring or which brings out emotional response from a reader brings in most engagement. Emotional response can be in any form either positive or negative.

Pinning a testimonial sounds great! Yes, If I see people writing RT so it strikes my mind and I automatically re-tweet or if I can’t re-tweet I do mark it as favorite. :)

I use pinned tweets for gaining following from my @Rohanlicious account to @Techbluemoon. It works for me. ;)

Thank you Swadhin for coming up with a truly ultimate guide for pinning an attention grabbing tweet. Looks Well researched and complied.

    ~ Rohan.

  17. Harleena Singh

    Hi Swadhin,

    Informational post indeed :)

Yes, you can do a lot with Twitter’s feature of pinning a tweet, which has come up recently, and I am glad they came out with it, something like we have on G+ and Facebook already.

As all of your points suggest, it makes sense to pin either your posts, quotes, or any other call to action that you want to showcase to others because that’s one place where new tweeps are going to come in. So, makes sense to have your best status pinned there. You are right, you can put up almost anything, though I haven’t yet tried the Twitter card or the advt part of it all, but heard marketers do it well.

I’d also add that keep changing your pinned tweet after 1-2 days, adding variety is good, isn’t it? Also, keep trying a combination of things, posts, quotes, share someone else’s work etc – anything good is taken up and re-tweeted. True – adding 1-2 trending hashtags works well too.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Have a nice weekend :)

    • Swadhin Agrawal

      Hello Harleena maam,
      Thanks for the lovely input.
Yes I too think a call to action or any tweet that we can be proud of can be the best for our followers. This will increase the credibility.
If we have a call to action or a lead funneling then that can also give us financial or monetary benefits.
Yes I think every social network now has a pin feature which when used properly and wisely can help us in a lot more ways. :)
